Most homes end up with too few outlets in the places that matter — kitchen benches, home office, garage, patio. We add points on a circuit that can take the load, not another adapter on an already-warm outlet.
Outdoor and shed power needs weatherproof enclosures and RCD protection. Big loads (oven, spa, tools, EV) usually need their own circuit from the board, not a spur off the kitchen.
We quote the cable path honestly: in-wall where we can, surface ducting where that is the only tidy option.

How we run it
Cable path first. Then the faceplate.
A neat outlet is only as good as the run behind it. We plan the path before we cut.
- In-wall or roof-space runs where access allows.
- Surface ducting when opening the wall is not honest or worth it.
- Board capacity checked — extra points sometimes mean a new circuit.

Why not a powerboard
Warm outlets are an early warning.
Double adaptors and daisy-chained boards are how points overheat. A proper circuit is cheaper than a wall fire.
- Outdoor and shed power done cheaply is a shock and water-ingress risk.
- A dedicated circuit for a big load protects the rest of the house.
- We test and leave the point looking like it was always there.
