Split systems sized for the room — not the brochure.

Adelaide summers punish undersized splits. We measure the room, aspect and insulation — then pick a kW that will actually hold the space, not a number from a sales chart.

Indoor and outdoor units get sited for airflow, noise and a pipe run you will not hate looking at. Electrics are part of the same quote: the circuit and the board have to take the load.

We can supply and install, or install a unit you have already bought if it is suitable. Commissioning includes a handover so the remote is not a mystery.

Clean pipe run

Quiet outdoor unit, drain that drains

Split-system indoor unit on a living-room wall

Indoor

On the right wall, blowing the right way.

A split only works if the head can see the room. We site it for airflow, not just the shortest pipe.

  • Head height and throw matched to the space.
  • Condensate drain that actually falls to a legal discharge.
  • Remote, modes and filters explained before we leave.
Split-system outdoor condenser

Outdoor

A legal, quiet spot — not dumped by the fence.

Neighbours remember a noisy condenser. We pick a pad or brackets that keep clearance and keep the peace.

  • Outdoor unit sited for airflow, service access and noise.
  • Pipe work lagged and finished clean on the wall.
  • Electrical circuit sized and protected at the board.

Why size it

Undersized runs flat out. Oversized short-cycles.

Both waste power and feel wrong. Correct electrics stop the first-summer callback.

  • We measure the room rather than selling a bigger unit “just in case”.
  • Most single-head installs are a day, depending on pipe run.
  • Brand preference is fine — we confirm it suits the space before we order.
